Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them [#books #review]

by Newt Scamander (J.K. Rowling)

Harry Potter

Fantastic beasts and where to find them represents the fruit of many years' travel and research.
[incipit]

A very enjoyable book, I liked it more than the one about Quidditch. The most interesting part is certainly the variety of strange and absurd beasts, some very adorable, others really scary and creepy. It was also very nice how many of these beasts fit into some of the "real" legends that we poor unsuspecting Muggles also know. I really enjoyed reading this book, for a Harry Potter fan it's a real treat!
