The end is known [#books #review]

by Geoffrey Holiday Hall

An atypical mystery novel, with the investigation focusing on the victim, to uncover not so much his end, which is known, but who he was and what his life had been before that tragic end. A very well written novel, with a captivating style, a Chinese box structure that when it allows you to clarify a doubt, it immediately creates many other ones.
A reading that I enjoyed very much, with an ending that is both inevitable and unsettling. Five very satisfied stars.
