Another character played by Mark Sheppard that caught my attention: Christopher 'C.J.' Yates, from the tv movie Soldier of Fortune (1997). My second attempt with GIMP: I'm learning! What do you think? :)

Primeval team fest

A couple of years ago, at the marvellous LJ community Primeval Denial, we had a challenge called Primeval Team Fest (HERE the explanation of what I'm talking about).

Un paio di anni fa, sulla meravigliosa comunità LJ Primeval Denial, abbiamo avuto una sfida chiamata Primeval Team Fest (QUI la spiegazione di cosa sto parlando).

The First Team, in september 2011, was formed by Claudia, Caroline, Lorraine, Sarah and Christine. I didn't make any work for this team, but I left some comments, so I'm proudly entitled to take the banner:

La Prima Squadra, nel settembre 2011, era formata da Claudia, Caroline, Lorraine, Sarah e Christine. Non ho fatto alcun lavoro per questa squadra, ma ho lasciato alcuni commenti, quindi con orgoglio ho il diritto di prendere il banner:

I know, these banners are too big for my layout, but I didn't know where else to put them if not in a post, and they had to be shown somewhere!!! :)

Lo so, questi banner sono troppo grandi per il mio layout, ma non sapevo dove altro metterli se non in un post, e dovevo mostrarli da qualche parte!!! :)

Second Team (HERE the opening post) was in january 2012, was formed by Danny, Ethan, Leek, Cutter, Ryan and Stephen. This time I didn't make only comments, but I joined with some icons, too! About Ryan (14 Icons), Cutter and Stephen (54 general icons, 22 icon from episode 2.05 and 15 from 2.06). So, this time I made 69 points, and I'm really really proud to share the banner I "won":

La Seconda Squadra (QUI il post di apertura) c'è stata nel gennaio 2012, era formata da Danny, Ethan, Leek, Cutter, Ryan e Stephen. Questa volta non ho solo commentato, ma ho anche partecipato con alcune icone! Su Ryan (14 icone), Cutter e Stephen (54 icone in generale, 22 dall'episodio 2.05 e 15 dal 2.06). Quindi, questa volta ho fatto 69 punti, e sono davvero orgogliosa di condividere il Banner che ho "vinto":

In July 2012 was round 4 (HERE the opening post). This Fourth Team was formed by Becker, Burton, Connor, Lester and Matt. Unfortunately I didn't had too much time to play, with Lester I wanted do a lot of things :), but I posted only a wallpaper, a fanfic (530 words, the longest thing I ever wrote!) and 3 icons for a contest.

Nel luglio 2012 c'è stato il round 4 (QUI il post di apertura). Questa Quarta Squadra era formata da Becker, Burton, Connor, Lester e Matt. Purtroppo non ho avuto troppo tempo per giocare, con Lester avrei volevo fare un sacco di cose :), ma ho postato solo un wallpaper, una fanfiction (in inglese, 530 parole, la cosa più lunga che ho scritto in questa lingua!) e 3 icone per un contest.

Ultimate Spider-Man - Coulson [19 Icons]

The second season of Agents of SHIELD has started, but, as I already said, I think the world needs more Coulson! Even just the animated one! :)

When I discovered that Agent Coulson was a character in the animated series Ultimate Spider-Man, and he had Clark Gregg's voice, I had to see him! :D And it's quite adorable, just as the flesh and bone version! :D

Plus, I added a keep calm Coulson icon (that, by the way, is perfect for him, because no one can keep calm as Coulson does!!!) :D

La seconda stagione di Agents of SHIELD è iniziata, ma, come ho già detto, penso che il mondo abbia bisogno di più Coulson! Anche solo quello disegnato! :)

Quando ho scoperto che l'agente Coulson era un personaggio della serie animata Ultimate Spider-Man, e aveva la voce di Clark Gregg, ho dovuto vederlo! :D Ed è piuttosto adorabile, proprio come la versione in carne ed ossa! :D

Inoltre, ho aggiunto un'icona "keep calm Coulson" (che, tra l'altro, è perfetto per lui, perché nessuno sa "mantenere la calma" come fa Coulson !!!) :D

I made these icons after I watched the movie The Avengers, thinking that the world needed more Coulson. Now he has his own series (Agents of SHIELD), but I still think that having more of him wouldn't be bad! :)

Ho fatto queste icone dopo aver visto il film The Avengers, pensando che il mondo avesse bisogno di più Coulson. Ora ha una propria serie (Agents of SHIELD), ma io continuo a pensare che avere più Couslon non sarebbe male! :)

I made these icons for a contest at TV World, a very funny TCG site (I'm not playing anymore, unfortunately!).

The icons I submitted are those in the teaser, and with the second one (#13) I won Owner's Choice prize! :D

Why making icons about a minor character like the Ring Director, that appears only in two episodes? Well, isnt' it obvious? :) Because he's played by Mark Sheppard!!! :D

I watched this movie before to go to the cinema to watch The Avengers. I liked it, not too much, but I did, and most of all because of these two guys. So, I said to myself... let's iconize them! :) And I couldn't stop! :D

Ho visto questo film prima di The Avengers. Mi è piaciuti, non tantissimo, ma mi è piaciuto, e per la maggior parte grazie a questi due. QUindi, mi sono detta... iconizziamoli un po'! :) E non sono riuscita a fermarmi! :D

Firefly - 1.01 "Serenity" [39 Icons]

So... a couple of years ago, eons late, I finally watched this tv series... and I loved it sooooooo much!!! Why... why... WHY it's been cancelled?!?! It's such a great show!!! :'(

Quindi... un paio d'anni fa, eoni in ritardi, ho finalmente visto questa serie... e l'ho amata tantiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiissimo!!! Perché... perché... PERCHE' è stata cancellata! Un telefilm così bello!!! :'(

Anyway, after watching (and re-watching) all the episodes, I started to make icons. Here there are the ones from episode 1. Am I going to make icons from every episode?! I don't know, but I'm afraid I could!!! :D

Comunque, dopo aver guardato (e riguardato) tutti gli episodi, ho iniziato a fare icone. Ecco qui quelle dall'episodio 1. Farò delle icone per ogni singolo episodio? Non lo so, ma temo che potrei!!! :D

Oh, I also added two icons of the "keep calm" series, one about Firefly, the other about The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy book series.

Oh, ho aggiunto anche due icone della serie "keep calm", una su Firefly e l'altra sulla Guida Galattica per Autostoppisti.

Mark Sheppard - Lover's Knot [42 Icons]

Lover's Knot is a 1996 romantic comedy in which Mark plays the main character's best friend. The movie was boring, but Mark was amazing! :) Unfortunately the screencaps I took were very bad, so the image quality sucks, but Mark compensates with his awesomeness! :)

Lover's Knot è una commedia romantica del 1996, in cui Mark interpreta il miglior amico del protagonista. Il film era noioso, ma Mark era fantastico! :) Purtroppo le screencaps che ho preso erano molto brutte, quindi la qualità dell'immagine fa schifo, ma Mark compensa con la sua meravigliosità! :)

I made these icons for the first birthday of my LJ. To celebrate I changed the graphic, and the new one was dedicated to Ben Miller, and while I was making it I made also a lot of other icons about this wonderful actor! I had a lot of fun making these icons, because Ben Miller is so gorgeous!!! :)

Ho creato queste icone per il primo compleanno del mio LJ. Per festeggiare avevo cambiato la grafica, e la nuova era dedicata a Ben Miller, e mentre la stavo facendo, ho fatto anche un sacco di altre icone su questo attore meraviglioso! Mi sono divertita un sacco nel fare queste icone, perché Ben Miller è favoloso!!! :)

7 icons with Stephen, 9 icons with Cutter, 5 icons with both of them, 1 with Stephen and Taylor and 3 with Taylor alone, so for Primeval Team Fest 2 there are only 22 valid icons.

I hope you like them! I loved this episode, I like Silurian Sands, and I really love Taylor!!! :D
