The Neanderthal Meal / Il Pasto Neanderthaliano

Neanderthals from El Salt consumed both meat and vegetables, in agreement with recent hypotheses based on indirect evidence.

In El Salt (Spain) has been discovered Neanderthal coprolites which date back 40,000 to 60,000 years. Coprolites (fossilized poop) can be very useful to understand diet.

In El Salt (Spagna) sono stati scoperti dei coproliti neandertaliani che risalgono a 40-60.000 anni fa. I coproliti (cacca fossile) possono essere molto utili per capire la dieta.
