Tommy Beresford removed his overcoat in the hall of the flat. He hung it up with some care, taking time over it. His hat went carefully on the next peg.[incipit]
A novel a bit different from Christie's usual mysteries, but it didn't disappoint me, on the contrary! Perhaps it's precisely because I expected to enjoy it less, that instead it turned out to be a very pleasant, compelling and satisfying reading!
