My relationship with Garcia Marquez is a bit strange. I like his books, but I'm not fully satisfied when I read them, and after some time I don't remember them with particular enthusiasm. The reason is perhaps that this author is not for me, I cannot empathize with him. For example, when I finished this novel I tried to give a comment, to express an opinion, but I could only say a big "I don't know!". I read this book quickly, I liked reading it, but in spite of the sad story of Sierva María it has never really emotionally involved me.
